Manually Change Automated Greeting

Log into RC:

Navigate to Phone System > Auto Receptionist > General Settings > IVR Settings

  1. Select “Edit” for Company Hours Greeting

  2. Select the “Record Button”

  3. Select “Importing”

  4. Select “Browse” and upload the relevant audio file.

  5. Select “Done” and “Save”

Alternatively, RingCentral offers a level of automation for changing outgoing messages based on conditions within the “Custom Answering Rules”. A change to the outgoing message can be setup for a date/time trigger.
